The Story Behind Echoes of Places
Capturing More Than Just Moments – Capturing Echoes

I am Krishanee Prajapati, a photographer, designer, and storyteller who believes that every place has a voice. Some places whisper through the stillness of untouched landscapes, some roar through the eyes of a captive tiger, and some hum through the centuries-old walls of monasteries.
Photography, for me, is not just about capturing what is seen but about preserving what is felt. My journey started years ago, driven by an insatiable curiosity for the world’s hidden narratives. From snow-covered peaks in Rohtang Pass to the remote monasteries of Ladakh and the unspoken sadness in the eyes of tigers in captivity, every image I capture holds an emotion, a memory, an echo.
The Philosophy Behind Echoes of Places
I created Echoes of Places not just as a blog, but as a canvas where fleeting moments find permanence. Each photograph here is more than a visual—it’s an experience, a fragment of time that tells a story.
Conservation Through Captures – Many of my wildlife images aim to evoke awareness about animals in captivity and the wild they deserve.
Wander With Purpose – Whether trekking in fresh snow or exploring cultural depths, my lens seeks stories that inspire exploration and reflection.
Art That Resonates – Photography is more than documentation; it’s an emotion you can bring into your home. Every print is an invitation to own a moment that speaks to you.
Why I Capture These Moments
Because places don’t just exist—they breathe, evolve, and leave imprints on our souls.
Because a tiger’s eyes can hold more truth than words ever could.
Because in a world rushing forward, some moments deserve to stand still.
With Echoes of Places, I invite you to step into these moments with me. To feel the silence of the mountains, the whispers of a monastery, and the stories untold in the wild.
